Brody has been a Pittsburgh Steelers fan since birth, so it was a dream come true to touch down in Pittsburgh to meet the team. He fit in perfectly with the players wearing his favorite member's jersey, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Brody watched the Steelers train at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex. The Steelers made Brody feel like a part of the team as they ran around with him, threw footballs with him. He felt like a true hero practicing with them and getting a ton of Steelers gear. Brody met Coach Mike Tomlin and many players.
Brody also watched the team take the field against the New England Patriots. Even though the Steelers lost, Brody felt like a winner watching the game with his family at Heinz Field. He also explored the zoo and aquarium, but the best part was experiencing it all with his family.
Brody still talks about the trip and meeting his favorite football players. "He really had a blast. It was a great experience for all of us," his mother said. "Everybody was so open-armed and welcoming."
