For 9-year-old Sage from Fort Pierce, a shopping spree was a perfect way to spend the day. She lit up at the chance to shop at Justice, her favorite store that she always asked her parents to take her to. Her mother said, “I cannot describe what a wonderful, moving day it was. Everybody’s kindness and generosity, and all the little extra things people did were incredible.”
The day started with a limo ride to The Gardens Mall, this being the first time Sage had ever been there. There were many small touches that made the day extra special, including Godiva Chocolatier letting Sage sample sweets and wearing tiaras from the employees at Finish Line and Pandora. Much to her excitement, she also selected an iPad Mini from the Apple Store. She enjoyed taking her time picking out clothing and accessories at Justice. Her mother was very proud of Sage for picking out what she really wanted, and showing gratitude for everything she received.
One of the highlights of the day was going to P.F. Chang’s China Bistro for dinner, and receiving a card signed by all the employees while she chowed down on sweet and sour chicken. Sage was showered with attention, and made to feel like a true star on her special day. Her mother says, “This is the memory of a lifetime that she will never forget.”
