Meeting the Wild Kratts was the ultimate wish for animal lover Noah. This five-year-old never missed an episode, often enjoying reruns of the show. He especially loved learning about baby animals and his favorite wild cat, the caracal. For him, animals are a way to bring joy to days of treatment and sickness. Knowing he would meet the Wild Kratt brothers gave him something special to look forward to.
Noah and his family traveled to Ottawa, Canada where they stayed in a room overlooking the city. They traveled by limo to the Wild Kratts studio, where they spent the afternoon with the brothers. His father said, “He lit up when he saw the Wild Kratts for the first time.” They toured the studio with a special stop to see how the cartoon was produced from artwork to animation and an animator even drew a cartoon Noah as a keepsake. Martin and Chris Kratt quizzed him about different episodes and called him a creature genius. Noah’s favorite part was when the brothers introduced him to a few animals brought in special just for him including a red fox, owl, albino skunk and a snake.
The cherry on the cake was watching an unaired episode of the show. Noah left the studio with a handmade costume signed by the Kratt brothers, along with Wild Kratts action figures and lots more. After all that excitement, Noah and his family explored Canada and visited a children’s museum. His father said, “It was a larger-than-life experience.”
