Danny, a 14-year-old who is battling brain cancer, always wanted his own golf cart – and after a special wish reveal, his dream is now a reality. Dozens of Polen Capital employees and Make-A-Wish supporters cheered on Danny as he arrived to the Polen Capital headquarters in Boca Raton via limousine.
When his black and red golf cart was revealed, Danny was smiling from ear to ear. His new ride exceeds his expectations with some incredible features including 14-inch transformer wheels, surround sound stereo, underbody lighting and a touch screen DVD player, and a logo from his favorite video game, Call of Duty.
Prominently featured on his golf cart is #sirestrong, a family motto. It serves as a motivator and source of strength for Danny and his family throughout his battle with brain cancer. Danny, whose nickname is Sire, says just hearing it makes him feel stronger.
Polen Capital, who sponsored his wish, also treated Danny to a delicious catered lunch and some extra gifts. Danny cannot wait until his friends and neighbors see him riding around his community.
