Since she had never traveled before, 17-year-old Triniti wanted to a wish that would take her far away – to the Big Island of Hawaii.
Triniti got the royal treatment when she rode in a limo to the airport and was invited into the airplane’s cockpit by the pilot. Upon her arrival in paradise, Triniti, her mother and sister received a Polynesian welcome with beautiful leis. Her vacation was packed with fun excursions. She went hiking and explored Hawaii’s volcanoes, got dressed up for a luau with entertaining hula dancers and hung out on the beach.
Her favorite part of the wish was swimming with dolphins. Triniti thought it was amazing to receive a private session with two dolphins and even kiss one. She got a dolphin ring to commemorate the incredible moment.
Triniti was so grateful for the experience: “It made me feel like I can do anything and that my sickness doesn't define who I am and what I should or shouldn't do.”
