South Florida woke up to big trouble on Friday, June 6th as Sneaky Pete the alligator mutant was up to no good with his dastardly doings. Just when hope was fading, a new superhero was born. Jaylen, from Coral Springs became Striker Boy on the morning of his 9th birthday and sprang into action in his Strikermobile. He found the Rock of Strength and discovered his superpowers – super human strength and endurance, the power to see into the future and sense danger. Striker Boy and his sidekick brother Falcon Boy thwarted Sneaky Pete every step of the way. They saved a soccer game at Nova Southeastern University, saved a dognapped puppy and put out a burning building at the Broward Fire Academy. Striker Boy apprehended Sneaky Pete, his arch nemesis, and took him to jail at the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Striker Boy fielded questions from the assembled media and let South Florida know that safety was restored. Striker Boy was presented with a special trophy fit for a hero and finished his epic day with a birthday party. Sandwiches were provided by TooJay's Original Gourmet Deli – the perfect way to refuel.
