Since her battle with a neoplasm would keep her from going to Hawaii, 7-year-old Aniyah from Florida City wished to have Hawaii brought to her in the form of a huge luau. The build-up to her wish day was so much fun as she shared her desires for her dream party. She chose the colors, put together the guest list and took hula dancing lessons with a professional dancer.
After a limo ride to The Palms on Miami Beach, Aniyah was treated to a mini-makeover including hairstyling, a manicure, a pedicure and a touch of makeup to accentuate her natural beauty. Wearing a custom hula girl outfit, Aniyah arrived to her outdoor oasis for a luau with her loved ones. She glowed as she performed on stage with other hula girls, and then her friends and family joined her for a few more dances.
To perfect her Polynesian party, Aniyah and her guests enjoyed a fire dancer show, D.J. spun music, a buffet fit for a Hawaiian princess and much more. Every detail was better than this little hula girl ever imagined.
