Wishes are the cornerstone of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida and we look forward to seeing every wish come true. Wishes can be small or large, simple or elaborate, but they are all important.
Below are some wishes that we’ve been proud to have helped make come true!
“I wish to have a bathroom makeover.”
Jordan, Age 14
On the day that 14-year-old Jordan learned his wish would come true, his volunteer wish granters presented him with a hard hat and pronounced him the honorary chairman of the bathroom construction. Victoria, Age 8
Eight-year-old Victoria, who wished to record her own CD, quickly has become South Florida’s newest singing sensation. Read More

Maggie, Age 10
Greeted with a fragrant lei and a friendly “Aloha,” 10-year-old Maggie from Boynton Beach felt right at home during her wish trip to Hawaii. It was her ideal wish because of her love of the outdoors and her desire to have fun with her family. Read More
The Southern Florida chapter is celebrating 25 years of granting wishes to local children. We have grown from granting two wishes in 1983 to granting 527 wishes in fiscal year 2008.
