Volunteer
Volunteering is a great way to share the power of a wish®. You can help make the wishes of special children come true when you become a volunteer for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida. Our mission is only possible with the dedication of our wonderful and talented volunteers.

Make-A-Wish Volunteers are required to:
- complete a volunteer application
- attend volunteer information session and training
- undergo a criminal background check (background check fee of $27.95 is responsibility of the volunteer)
- maintain the confidentiality of all information gathered through their association with the Make-A-Wish Foundation
- sign a “Conflict of Interest and Ethics Statement” annually
- be 21 years of age to be a Wish Granter

Barbara CornellierSeven years ago, Barbara Cornellier was introduced to the many volunteer opportunities at the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida by a previous board member. Barbara, who has been volunteering for the Foundation ever since, says she loves being a part of this great organization.
By donating cruise packages and by providing VIP treatment to ensure that each wish family has the experience of a lifetime, Royal Caribbean International is helping the Make-A-Wish Foundation® fulfill wishes for children whose most heartfelt wish is to take a cruise vacation.
