For over 30 years, the founders of The Learning Experience, the Weissman family, have been positively impacting the lives of children by developing and implementing ground-breaking care and early education programs throughout the country. The Learning Experience encourages children to “learn, play, and grow” through their unique and proprietary programs. The Learning Experience activates their mission through several non-profit activities within the local community, but as a member of our Board of Directors, Richard Weissman goes above and beyond to drive the mission of Make-A-Wish. The Learning Experience dedicates time and energy into incorporating Make-A-Wish into their curriculum so the children understand the importance of giving back, in addition to employee contributions through monthly giving, and hosting numerous events year-round.
Richard Weissman along with his wife Robin, Greg & Yvonne Salsburg, and Ed & Ashley Brown hosted a private party under an open-air tent featuring a 45-minute concert by Robin Thicke, lots of Patron cocktails, and a buffet dinner prepared by James Beard Award nominee Chef Clay Conley. This event raised more than $500,000.
