If you’ve ever wondered “How can I possibly make a difference?” or “How can I be a part of making a wish come true?” Stop wondering and start donating! The Make-A-Wish Foundation^® asks you to make a difference and help wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions - it’s as easy as donating your unused frequent flier miles!

Children are always on the go - the children of the Make-A-Wish Foundation are no different. They also want to go, and want to see, and want to explore the many adventures that await them in the world outside of hospitals and doctors. Many of our wish requests from children begin with “I want to go…” In fact over 60% of the wishes granted last year included travel. That’s a lot of kids wanting to travel. It is our goal and our mission to make these wonderful dreams come true, but we can’t do it without you!

Most of the major airlines have now made it incredibly easy for their customers to donate unused frequent flier miles. The Make-A-Wish Foundation is currently collaborating with airlines that allow their customers to donate unused miles, which in return has saved the Foundation millions of dollars. Thanks to these airlines and their loyal customers, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has been able to send thousands of kids and their families on trips that they’ll never forget!

Unfortunately, this is still not enough to meet the growing demands of our wish kids and their desire to travel and explore the depths of our beautiful world. This year, we are expected to grant 546 wishes and will travel thousands of miles. This is a huge task and we can’t do it alone! We ask you to help make a wish come true by donating your unused miles.

“Due to rising costs and airline cutbacks, it is crucial for the Foundation to seek help from the community in order to fly these children and their families,” said Make-A-Wish^® Chairman of the Board Ben Eisenberg. Donating your unused air miles is one of the easiest and most direct ways of contributing to the Foundation!
