Miami-Dade Wishmakers Celebrate Carnaval Style  The Miami-Dade Wishmakers and more than 60 Make-A-Wish supporters celebrated Carnaval style aboard the luxury party yacht Aqua and raised over $1400 for the Foundation. Guests enjoyed the festive atmosphere with champagne toasts, Caipirinhas, tasty hors D'Oeuvres and a traditional Brazilian Dance performance. A special thank you to all of our guests who bared the rare cold South Florida night and to Aqua, Boca Loca, Big Chef, Piola USA, ZMann, and Maculele Capoeira for their contributions. |

Miami-Dade Wishmakers Networking Reception at SET  More than 125 people attended the Miami-Dade Wishmakers exclusive networking reception at SET. Guests enjoyed an intimate atmosphere at the South Beach hot spot while sipping on complimentary drinks courtesy of The Opium Group and Premier Beverage. This event raised an amazing $2800 or more importantly enough to become a wish partner and help grant a child's wish like 11-year-old Ricardo. Ricardo's wish was to go on an enchanting getaway to Paris, France but because of his battle with muscular dystrophy his doctor advised against it. That's when he came up with the idea for a family cacation to the Paris Las Vegas Hotel where he felt like he was truly in France and even got to climb the Vegas-style Eiffel Tower. |

| B.E.D....where dreams and wishes come true Details: The Miami-Dade Wishmakers hosted their holiday bash at B.E.D. Miami on December 21st to raise funds and awareness for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. Over 100 Wishmakers and Make-A-Wish Supporters stopped by to share some holiday cheer--raising over $2400! Guests were given the VIP treatment and enjoyed an open bar for an hour, a two-hour Snow Queen Vodka bar and Make-A-Wish Martinis. Special thanks to our event sponsors B.E.D. More than 40 Miami-Dade Wishmakers and Make-A-Wish supporters enjoyed an after-work cocktail and appeatizer buffet at Gordon Biersch in an effort to raise funds and awareness for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This event raised $500. The Miami-Dade Wishmakers would like to thank Complete Ticket Solutions for providing tickets for this event and to Gordon Biersch Miami for donating their venue, time and resources for a relaxing evening in support of our mission. |

Over 75 Miami-Dade Wishmakers and supporters of the Make-A-Wish Foundation stopped by Quarterdeck on South Beach for the "Watch for Wishes: Football Watch Party" on October 18th. The event included an amazing appetizer buffet, premium drinks, an auction and of course plenty of football. This event raised $900. The Miami-Dade In addition to our event attendees, the Miami-Dade Wishmakers would like to thank Quarterdeck Bar & Grill for hosting a wonderful event and our auction contributors,790 The Ticket, AMC Theaters,Cullen McRae from the Florida Marlins, Macy's, The University of Florida, and The Univeristy of Miami, for donating fabulous items--all of which provided a game-winning situation for the children we serve. |
