TooJay's ‘Gives Back’ Through Make-A-Wish
In-Store Fundraising Enables Restaurants, Customers to Make a Difference for Sick Kids
TooJay’s Gourmet Deli has partnered with two Make-A-Wish chapters in Florida and pledged to grant wishes for 24 children, one for each of the restaurants it has in the state. The West Palm Beach-based chain will actively fundraise for the nonprofit throughout May and June, donating a portion of sales on specific items. TooJay’s has committed $120,000 so that kids who have life-threatening medical conditions can make a wish and have it come true. Read More

The 19th Annual Make-A-Wish Ultimate Sports Auction is Thursday, March 8, 2012
Celebrating its 19th year, the Make-A-Wish Ultimate Sports Auction is the only charity fundraiser that brings together players, coaches, executives, and alumni from the Miami HEAT, Miami Marlins, Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, and University of Miami Hurricanes, along with national sports figures. The celebrity-filled event -- which raises money to grant the wishes of local children who have life-threatening medical conditions -- includes live and silent auctions, cocktails and dinner.
