TSŪ.CO NAMED MAKE-A-WISH SOUTHERN FLORIDA’S ‘MEDIA PARTNER
OF THE YEAR’
Bestowed at Nonprofit’s Annual Donor Celebration
Miami, FL -- Tsū.co, an invite-only social media platform
that pays royalties to users for the content they create, was honored by
Make-A-Wish Southern Florida as its “Media Partner of the Year” at a recent
donor appreciation event at Jungle Island.
The social network, which has more than four million users,
was recognized for helping the nonprofit organization reach new audiences and
monetize the content it produces. To date, the regional Make-A-Wish chapter has
gained nearly 25,000 followers, been the beneficiary of several wish-related
promotions, and raised more than $2,500 by sharing its photos, videos, and web
links via Tsū.co.
“We’re indebted to Tsū for helping take our social media
efforts to a new level,” said Norman Wedderburn, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida
president & CEO. “Their site enables us to share that the impact we have
for children and families isn’t just nice, it’s a necessary infusion of hope,
strength, and joy into lives that have been seriously impacted by a child’s
Added Sebastian Sobczak, Tsū.co founder and CEO:
"Considering the number of worthy candidates and the world-class
publishers and conglomerates who previously received the ‘Media Partner of the
Year’ award, it is truly humbling as an 11-month-old media startup to receive
this prestigious honor. It is so rewarding to know that our platform makes it
uniquely possible for people to view children’s wishes through Make-A-Wish and
make them come true. Our hearts go out to the children and families Make-A-Wish
works with, and we look forward to continuing to help make their lives a little
Tsū.co is successfully disrupting social media to make

Since 1983, Make-A-Wish Southern Florida has granted more
than 10,000 wishes to children who have life-threatening medical conditions.
Wish kids most often ‘wish to be’ (something), ‘wish to meet’ (someone), ‘wish
to go’ (somewhere), or ‘wish to have’ (something) and the nonprofit
organization makes this happen for the child and his/her entire family at no
cost to them.
The Southern Florida chapter grants a wish every 16 hours,
at an average cost of $5,000, and is committed to making a dream come true for
every medically eligible child in its territory, which includes 13 Florida
counties and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It
completes its mission without federal or state funding, raising money through
corporate sponsorships, special events, foundation grants, and individual contributions.
