There’s no way that 13-year-old Christion could pick just one favorite part from his wish trip to Hawaii because every moment was like paradise. Before his trip, Christion did research about Hawaii on the internet but nothing could prepare him for the fun ahead.

Christion’s dream vacation was a whirlwind of activities including rock climbing, bumper boats, miniature golf, swimming and tons of laughter. There was a sunset cruise and a visit to the Maui Ocean Center, a state-of-the-art aquarium and marine park, to learn about Hawaiian sea creatures. 

During a traditional luau, Christion tapped his feet to the beat of the drums and was mesmerized by the fire dancers. He listened intently to Polynesian stories and learned the hula. Then it was time to eat – and what a feast it was. According to his mother, the tastiest tidbit was the purple sweet potatoes with coconut.  

After each day of island adventures, Christion returned to his gorgeous accommodations at the Aston Ka’anapali Shores which overlooked the ocean. Each night, they opened the windows to hear the waves, feel the breeze and see the tiki torches illuminating the evening sky.
