Four-year-old Cameron’s wish to have a dinosaur celebration was a gigantic success.
When the limousine showed up at his family’s Ft. Lauderdale home, he asked, “Is that for me? Wow, look at that big limo car.” Cameron and his family were off to Jerry’s Café, a diner where everyone knows his name. On this day, his favorite diner was transported back to prehistoric times with lots of dinosaurs and foliage.
Cameron’s dinosaur celebration was a celebration indeed – with a photographer, a videographer and a D.J. there to add to the fun. He and his friends joyfully smashed a dinosaur piñata, created dinosaur sand art with a rainbow of colors and got dinosaur makeovers complete with face painting and tattoos (temporary, of course). There were dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets and a make-your-own sundae station that could satisfy the largest of appetites.
Upon returning home, Cameron, who is battling a temporal lobe brain tumor, was greeted by a new friend – a 5-foot-tall T-Rex. He embraced the towering creature with a huge hug. According to his mother, Cameron’s wish elevated his love of dinosaurs to a whole new level.
