Free Treats Served Up Sept. 24 to Benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation

WHO:  Cold Stone Creamery® (www.coldstonecreamery.com)

WHAT: Will host the “World’s Largest Ice Cream Social,” a nationwide fundraising event to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation®.    

 In South Florida, Cold Stone Creamery stores invite ice cream lovers to join celebrity scoopers at each location and experience the joy of free ice cream at a nostalgic event that promises wholesome family entertainment and fun activities.   

 From 5:00-8:00 p.m., Cold Stone Creamery visitors will receive a free 3 oz. serving of five-year-old wish kid Jack’s creation and can make a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Donations made locally throughout September will benefit the Southern Florida chapter (www.sfla.wish.org), which grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.

CREATION: Jack, a 2009 Junior Tastemaster™, has combined sweet cream ice cream with brownies, sprinkles and fudge to create his special treat.
